We’re so glad you’ve tuned in to our Free Live Session! During the midst of Lockdown, when real shows were not possible, we got together to play, record, film, mix, edit and release some very special versions of three of our songs: Alive, Fever & Criminal.
We all used to live together in a closed down college near Birmingham when we started the band, and Chris still lived there during lockdown. We all travelled over to Chris’ and ended up setting up our gear in Boots’s room (our housemate and previously singer).
He helped out with recording the songs and if you watch these songs carefully you can see him sat down, then stood up in the background as we play the songs.
First up…..’ALIVE’ with a very special guest…
I hope you enjoyed that TUNE! You’ll have noticed we have multiple camera angles, but you can’t see the other cameras!
This is because we actually played the song 4 times, to get different camera angles each time we played it. Doing it this way also allowed us to pick the best SOUNDING audio take as well, although I remember it being very consistent on the day anyway!
Next up, the song we wrote about the lockdown itself and how people love to steal toilet paper…’Fever’.
